D.C. Express Track Club is proud to announce longtime Athlete/Coach Elizabeth Simmons-White, along with Dr. Ande Durojaiye, and Alexia “Bowens” Sands will make up the Club’s 2022 Hall of Fame class. They will be inducted during our 38th Annual Awards End of Year Celebration and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (4:00 P.M) at the Eagle’s Landing Country Club, 100 Eagle's Landing Way, Stockbridge, GA 30281.
The D.C. Express Track Club Hall of Fame was established in the 25th year of the organization (2009), to recognize those individuals who have made impressive contributions to the club by virtue of their athletic and academic accomplishments while participating in the program, or on the collegiate level; or for their contributions to youth development, or support of the club; or as alumni who have gone on to produce successful careers as model citizens and significant contributors to the betterment of society.

Liz’s contribution to D.C. Express is an undeniable commitment as an athlete and a coach. Since joining our program as a coach and as one of our longest committed coaches over the years, we have reach new levels in our jumps program. Her skills in developing young jumpers (long & triple) have been unmatched.
Liz’s dedication and support have been vital to the success of the organization. She has contributed countless ways, as a former athlete, a Coach and financial contributor, and being intricately involved in developing our athletes thus bringing to fruition our purposes and goals.

Alexia’s contribution to youth over the years has helped athletes get college scholarships and kept youth active with their track programs thus contributed to the Community and Youth Development.
